SummaryReporting to the Department Director and under the direct supervision of the Linen Supervisor performs duties associated with the collection processing distribution and inventory of linens and all other items that require laundering.EducationHigh school or equivalent (GED).Certification Registration & LicensureNone required.ExperienceAbility to use good customer service skills. Will consider combination of education and experience.ResponsibilitiesStocks and delivers laundry.Restocks supply areas.Completes all required job specific competencies.Uses CARES (Compassion Accountability Respect Enthusiasm and Service) behaviors and propercustomer service.Processes daily laundering of soiled items such as cleaning cloths mops cubicle curtains etc...Properly follows Department and Hospital Safety Guidelines for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)usage including wearing gloves goggles and isolation gowns when necessary.Handles disposal of waste.Performs other duties as assigned.Concord Hospital is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
