You Will:Provide knowledge in systems engineering and information technology as it relates to Service and Systems ManagementProvide technical knowledge to support and maintain Linux systemsInvestigate and resolve issues that span multiple applications/technologies and require involvement from technical personnel across multiple groupsDevelop solutions to solve problems and implement enhancementsProvide technical knowledge to support and maintain IT enterprise productsIntegrate COTS and GOTS software into CANES baselinesProvide technical knowledge to design systems that monitor and manage CANES baselinesProvide knowledge in systems engineering and information technologyDevelop and/or revise system designs and architectures to improve efficiency stability effectiveness supportability and sustainabilityProvide feedback on internal processes and recommendations for improvementContribute to team efforts by accomplishing related taskings as directedProvide technical knowledge to design systems that monitor and manage DoD systemsPrepare technical briefs to present to engineering review teamsInstall test branches on physical hardware on lab equipment as first level integration testsVerify install documentation is executableYou Have:US CitizenshipDepartment of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance or ability to obtain an interim security clearance prior to hire dateDoD Certifications as an Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II4 years experience in a systems engineer role overseeing complex IT infrastructureExperience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux system development integration and testingExperience with Red Hat Satellite and YUMExperience securing Red Hat products in accordance with DoD standardsExperience with programming/scripting languagesAbility to effectively install configure and administer in a multi-system and/or multi-application environmentAbility to automate the installation and configuration of applications and servicesWorking knowledge and experience with Agile framework and ScrumKnowledge of Linux/Windows OS and networking from a system design perspectiveAbility to create and test virtualized environments (VMWare OpenShift Hyper-V AWS)Strong documentation and oral communication skills to clearly communicate with all levels of users engineers managers and organizationsAbility to work with others in a highly collaborative environmentSelf-Motivated strong work ethic and commitment to qualityAbility to multi-task and balance multiple goals and prioritiesWed be Impressed if You Had:A bachelors degree in computer science or engineering8 years experience in systems engineeringDemonstrated experience with:Git GitLab GitLab Pipelines Artifactory Confluence and JiraAnsible development (Inventories Collections Roles Modules Playbooks etc.)Programming/scripting languages (Bash/Python/PowerShell/HTML/etc)Experience with Red Hat Satellite development integration and testExperience with container technologies (OpenShift/Docker/Podman)Integrated development environment (IDE Visual Studio Code) for GIT management and code revisionExperience with IT monitoring solutions ie: MS Systems Center Operations Manager (SCOM) Solarwinds ManageEngine DynatraceExperience with Configuration Management and Asset Compliance solutions ie: MS Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECMSCCM)Experience with Ticketing and Help Desk solutionsTest Driven DevelopmentVMware virtual infrastructureLinux administration and BASH scriptingnetwork device configuration and automationKnowledge of Data Science pipelinesCertifications:Red Hat certification (i.e. RHCSA RHCE etc.)ScrumAgileMicrosoftCISSP SANS ITILWant to hear more about the Atlas experienceTo me the best part about working at Atlas is the level of transparency afforded to everyone in the company.
