This role supports a Navycustomer in Lexington Park MD.Job Description and Responsibilities:Install configure and maintain an organizations local area network (LAN) data communications network operating systems and physical and virtual servers. Perform System monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware network and server resources and systems. Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs including system backups. Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses. May assist in network emulation/virtualization analysis planning and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.Functional Responsibility/Principal Duties: Hardware Support OS/Application Software Support Compliance Assurance (STIG/patch/backup and ACAS scan all of the lab devices once deployed).Basic Requirements: A Junior level has less than 3 years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description and a BA/BS degree in a relevantsubject or discipline for the position.A mid-level has 3 or more years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description and a BA/BS degree in a relevant subject or discipline for the position.Education Requirements: Bachelors degree.
