LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY (JUNIOR LEVEL)TRIAL & DEFENSE PRODUCT LIABILITY & COMMERCIAL LITIGATIONLocation: New York NY HYBRIDOur client a leading international law firm is seeking a Junior Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Trial & Defense Practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated product liability mattersincluding environmental asbestos talc and other toxic tort claimsas well as complex commercial litigation. The practice involves representing policyholders brokers and both domestic and international insurers on high-exposure and latent-type claims. This is an exceptional opportunity for a junior attorney to develop strong litigation skills alongside seasoned trial attorneys in a fast-paced and collaborative practice.Candidate ProfileJD/LLM from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic recordActive Bar Admission in New York AND Connecticut in good standing13 years of substantive litigation experience includingcommercial litigationCourtroom experience including motion practice is requiredTrial experience is requiredAsbestos toxic tort or product liability experience strongly preferredSuperior legal writing analytical and research abilitiesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detail**Foreign attorneys who earned an LLM from an ABA-accredited law schoolwith an excellent academic record have Active Bar Admissionin both NYandCT and meet the same experience requirements are also welcome to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesTake and defend depositions and participate in hearings and mediationsDraft motions pleadings briefs and other litigation filingsPrepare detailed correspondence and report to clients and carrier representativesConduct legal research using Westlaw Lexis and other research toolsDraft interrogatories document requests and responsesReview and analyze document collections in preparation for litigationAssist with trial preparation and support trial teams as neededManage filings and submissions to state and federal courtsCollaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on litigation strategyWhy Join UsThis opportunity offers a premier platform to practice within one of the most active and sophisticated product liability and toxic tort defense groups in the country handling complex litigation that spans environmental exposure asbestos talc and broader commercial disputes.
