Are you looking for real courtroom experience instead of spending years behind a desk before ever seeing the inside of a courtroom?

Our growing litigation firm is seeking a motivated attorney who wants to develop strong litigation and trial skills in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. This position is a strong fit for a newly licensed attorney eager to gain practical experience, as well as an experienced attorney looking for a dynamic litigation practice with room for long-term growth.

Unlike many firms where junior attorneys spend years doing document review, our attorneys regularly attend hearings, participate in case strategy, draft substantive motions and pleadings, communicate with clients, handle contested matters, and assist with trial preparation. You will work closely with experienced litigators while gaining direct exposure to the courtroom and the practical skills needed to become a confident advocate.

About the Practice
Our firm handles a diverse litigation docket in state and federal courts, including:

Commercial Business litigation
General Civil litigation
Family law matters
Criminal defense matters

This position offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of contested matters, providing valuable courtroom, motion practice, negotiation, client communication, and trial preparation experience.

What You'll Do

Manage and assist with litigation matters from intake through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents
Conduct legal research and contribute to case strategy
Attend court hearings and litigation proceedings
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, witnesses, experts, and court personnel
Assist with discovery, depositions, mediations, and contested hearings
Assist with trial preparation and serve as first or second chair when appropriate
Work directly with experienced attorneys on complex and contested litigation matters

What We're Looking For

Licensed attorney in good standing
Strong written and oral advocacy skills
Excellent legal research and analytical abilities
Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic
Desire to develop courtroom, hearing, negotiation, and trial skills
Professionalism and confidence when working with clients and appearing in court

Experience is welcome but not required. We are willing to train an attorney who demonstrates initiative, professionalism, sound judgment, and a genuine desire to become a strong litigator. Experienced attorneys will also find meaningful responsibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to take on a larger role as the firm continues to grow.
