Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Maitland, FL, for an Associate with 3+ years of litigation experience. Alongside a supervising partner, the associate will manage a caseload involving healthcare professional defense, including drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, preparing cases for trial and representing clients in court and administrative proceedings. The role requires strong collaboration with other attorneys, paralegals and industry-specific consultants, maintaining the highest level of client service and attention to detail in all aspects of litigation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Law and Legal Document Preparation
  • Strong Analytical Skills to assess case details and develop legal strategies
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, colleagues and opposing counsel
  • Comprehensive understanding of Legal Issues related to professional liability and general civil litigation
  • Member in good standing with the Florida Bar
  • Prior litigation experience is highly desirable.
  • Skilled in managing multiple cases and meeting deadlines effectively
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
