A well-established Sarasota law firm is seeking a motivated Plaintiff Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join its insurance litigation team. This role focuses on first-party and third-party insurance matters, advocating for policyholders in disputes involving coverage, bad faith, and related claims. Former defense and plaintiff-side attorneys are both encouraged to apply.

Job Details

Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side insurance matters from intake through resolution

Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery

Depose parties and experts; attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences

Evaluate case value, liability, and strategy throughout the litigation process

Communicate consistently with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members

Contribute to a positive, accountable in-office culture

J.D. from an accredited law school

Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar

2-5 years of litigation experience (insurance defense or plaintiff experience strongly preferred)

Strong writing, advocacy, and negotiation skills

Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative in-office setting

Client-centered mindset with a commitment to high-quality representation
