We serve more than 500 education clients representing over six million students - from school districts and SELPAs to county offices of education, charter schools, government agencies, and municipalities. Job Details
  • Join a dynamic team of 120+ attorneys serving California's public education system.
  • Handle civil litigation on behalf of school districts and community colleges in state and federal court
  • Draft and argue motions including summary judgment and dispositive motions
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Manage administrative proceedings and regulatory defense matters
  • Provide strategic counseling and risk mitigation directly to administrators and boards
  • Carry a substantive caseload with real autonomy across complex, education-specific legal issues

Looking For:

  • CA Bar
  • Background in education law, labor and employment, public entity defense, civil rights, or administrative law preferred
  • Insurance defense and/or public entity experience helpful
