Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our growing team. This role supports our attorneys throughout the litigation process by managing cases from filing to resolution, ensuring deadlines are met, discovery is completed, and clients are supported every step of the way. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional service to clients during one of the most stressful times of their lives.Compensation:$22 - $28 hourlyResponsibilities:Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and discovery responses in state and federal courtsMaintain litigation calendars, track deadlines, and coordinate with court staff for scheduling and filingsOrganize and manage case files, exhibits, and evidence using our cloud-based case management system (Filevine)Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and experts to facilitate case progressPrepare attorneys for depositions, mediations, and trials, including exhibit preparation and witness coordinationSummarize medical records, deposition transcripts, and discovery responsesManage litigation timelines, court appearances, and trial logisticsAssist with settlement documentation, lien resolution, and disbursement preparationMaintain detailed notes and task completion within Filevine and Case Status platforms to ensure team communication and transparencyQualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in personal injury lawStrong understanding of Louisiana civil procedure and local court rulesProficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Filevine (preferred)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentCompassionate and professional client communication styleAbout CompanyWe are a small but growing personal injury firm.
