Our over 3000 employees are all united by one mission: For the People.SummaryThis role will work closely with a lead attorney and legal assistant. Successful candidates will be responsible for areas including but not limited to the following.ResponsibilitiesPrepare legal documents including pleadings motions affidavits complaints and legal memorandaE-file all court documents in state and federal courtCommunicate with clients courts counsel and othersConduct legal research and factual investigationPrepare discovery documents interrogatories and responsesDraft and serve summonsCoordinate and summarize depositionsPrepare trial binders and exhibits with legal assistantDraft pleadings motions and appellate documents to file with the courtMaintain pleadings and discovery indexesOrganize exhibits documents evidence briefs and appendicesAid Attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requestsGather relevant information from a variety of sourcesLiaise between trial teams and internal and external third partiesHelp with witness preparationHelp with case settlementsPerforms other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the businessQualificationAssociates Degree certificate or equivalent work experienceCompletion of a nationally accredited paralegal program(preferred)Experience in Personal Injury Workers Compensation Premises First Party Medical Malpractice or other injury related practice areas(preferred)At least 2 years of working experience as a litigation paralegal or in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm settingAbility to multitask organize prioritize handle a fast-paced environment and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervisionStrong written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail#LI-AP1Salary Range$65000 - $85000 USDBenefitsMorgan & Morgan is a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people not the powerful.
