Load Out Operator at Darling Ingredients

Job Summary The Load Out Operator uses PLC computer touchscreens for loading outbound trucks with finished product and is responsible for ensuring a steady flow of material for processing.Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesNothing in this job description restricts managements right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.Operates yard and plant equipment to load materials.Washes plant equipment vehicles and processing areas as necessary using high pressure power washer.Performs general cleaning as needed in work areas.Keeps area clean; raw materials piled out of driving area.Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.Reviews and evaluates qualitative data reports to verify that product meets Company specifications.All other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsMust be 18 years of age.High School diploma or GED required.Must be able to drive truck with standard transmission.Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.Preferred QualificationsProfessional CDL preferred but not required.Basic math skills; ability to add subtract multiply and divide whole numbers.Good oral and written skills; able to follow oral and written directions.Ability to review & comprehend qualitative data reports to verify product meets specifications.Ability to deal with minor problems involving equipment or various situations.Physical DemandsFrequently required to walk stand sit climb balance stoop kneel crawl and crouch.Frequently must push pull move or lift up to 100 lbs.Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.Work EnvironmentJob functions will be carried out in a plant environment which requires tolerance for high heat and/or cold temperatures.
