Job DescriptionJob DescriptionIndustrial Painter/LoaderShift: Monday-Friday (3:30pm to 11pm) Pay: $20-23/hr.Description:The Painter/Load is mainly responsible for painting and preparing structural steel and assisting with loading and unloading steel using overhead cranes.Requirements:Experience painting and using paint sprayers to apply paintMust have experience with overhead craneMaintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers, clients, and supervisorsWorks in compliance with company safety policies and proceduresMust be flexible to work any schedule needed including overtime and Saturdays as neededMust be able to wear a respiratorOverhead Crane experience preferably in a steel shopCapable of moving large 30 ft pieces of steel in and out of the shop with an overhead crane into backs of loading trucksExperienced with AISC standards and can use paint gauges and knows how to fill out painting forms and reportsBasic math skills are requiredMust be able to tolerate hot and cold working environmentMust be able to stand on feet for up to 10 hoursMust be organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced environmentJob Duties:Prep and paint structural steelMove steel with an overhead craneOperate forklift as neededPerform rigging work to move materials as requiresLoad and unload steel from trucksPerform other duties as required to support the fabrication shopBenefits:Health/dental/vision/disability insurancePaid time offPaid holidays401k with employer match and 100% vesting from the beginningPaid weeklyCompany Paid Life Insurance
