This role blends production and administrative responsibilities and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. You will assist loan officers by preparing and reviewing loan files, placing loan programs, calculating income, running DU and LP, and occasionally assisting with loan closings. Responsibilities Review loan packages for accuracy, completeness, and compliance, flagging any discrepancies for loan officers Serve as a liaison between clients, branch management, and loan officers, ensuring smooth communication and follow-up Assist with scheduling, booking appointments, and providing administrative support as needed Assemble and verify loan documentation, including credit reports, application paperwork, and other materials required for underwriting Support the team in maintaining high standards of client service throughout the loan process Qualifications Experience in mortgage loan production, underwriting, or loan origination preferred Highly motivated and goal-oriented with strong communication and customer service skills Knowledge of various loan products such as conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, adjustable, fixed, and commercial loans Proficiency in MS Office required; familiarity with CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage systems preferred NMLS license or training is a plus but not required High school diploma required; degree in banking, finance, or related field preferred Interested in hearing more?
