We are a comprehensive leader in women’s services, heart and vascular care, total joint replacement, breast cancer care, bariatric surgery, thyroid surgery, sports medicine and aesthetic surgery. About the Unit: 21 BedsNumber of Staff: 451 Charge RN per shift with no patient assignment, 6-8 nurses per shiftRatios: 2:1 ICU standard nurse to patient ration, unless patient is step down status, then 3:1, if very high acuity 1:1Type of Equipment: Hospira IV PumpsEMR: MeditechMust Have: Vasopressor IV drip titration, ventilator managementCare of Sepsis, arrhythmias, med/surg critical care patientsTypical Procedures Performed on Unit:    Intubation, central line insertionBronchoscopy, endoscopy Required to work every 3rd weekend, one major Holiday
