Job Title: Locum Physician - Anesthesiology (Cardiac)Join our dynamic healthcare team in Galloway New Jersey! Our facility is a hospital-based practice providing comprehensive care to patients and addressing a growing need for cardiac anesthesiology services. We are looking for a dedicated Locum Anesthesiologist to support our team from January 2026 onwards while we seek a permanent provider. Take advantage of this opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology including the Cerner EMR system within a supportive environment that prioritizes quality patient care.Job Responsibilities:Conduct general surgical cases for adults including IV regional anesthesia and plexus anesthesia.Administer anesthesia for open heart thoracic and complex vascular cases excluding open heart procedures.Perform spinal anesthesia regional anesthesia local infiltration and ventilation management.Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).Insert and manage TEE PA catheters arterial lines and central lines.Participate in the call schedule as needed including weekday night and weekend coverage.Qualifications:Board Certification in Anesthesiology REQUIREDActive New Jersey Medical License REQUIREDACLS and BLS Certifications REQUIREDFellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia PREFERREDProficiency in handling open heart thoracic and complex vascular cases REQUIREDExperience in TEE PA catheter arterial line and central line insertion REQUIREDExperience supervising CRNAs REQUIREDFamiliarity with Cerner EMR PREFERREDLicense and Certification Requirements:BLS CertificationACLS CertificationActive New Jersey Medical LicenseIf youre looking for an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant community Galloway NJ is the place to be!
