Our modern hospital is seeking a dedicated physician for 24-hour ER cardiology call coverage. This opportunity allows you to work collaboratively with hospitalists and specialists in a supportive inpatient setting.Job Responsibilities:Consult with patients in the Emergency Department and inpatient settings.Collaborate with hospitalists and specialists to ensure comprehensive care.Supervise stress tests (both pharmacological and exercise).Interpret outpatient and inpatient echocardiograms Holter monitors and event monitors.Perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and other optional procedures as applicable.Qualifications:Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Cardiology or Board Eligible within 5 years.Active California medical license.DEA certification (required during credentialing).Availability for specified dates of coverage only.Clean malpractice background (highly preferred).License and Certification Requirements:Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Cardiology.California state medical license.DEA certification during the credentialing process.Grass Valley nestled in the scenic Sierra Nevada foothills offers a charming small-town atmosphere with access to outdoor adventures and rich history.
