DescriptionAs a Locum Radiation Oncologist you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with various types of cancer utilizing advanced radiation therapy techniques. You will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care while addressing the needs of our clients in a timely manner. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing patient care services and improving the overall quality of oncology treatment.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and treat patients with cancer using radiation therapyDevelop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare teamPerform necessary procedures and administer radiation treatmentsMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessaryCommunicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment optionsDocument patient care and treatment plans accuratelyParticipate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient careStay updated on advancements in radiation oncology and treatment methodologiesRequirementsMedical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institutionBoard certification in Radiation OncologyValid medical license to practice in the state of Georgia1-3 years of clinical experience in Radiation OncologyStrong understanding of radiation therapy techniques and protocolsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentCommitment to providing high-quality patient careSchedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5pNo call requirementWill cover shifts at multiple facilitiesPatient Volume: 25-30 per shiftBrachytherapy and RadioPharm skills preferredSupport Staff: APPsEMR: EpicMust be board-certifiedPaid travel & expenses Key Skills Arabic Faculty,Furniture,Housekeeping,Financial Consulting,Arabic Employment Type : CONTRACT Experience: years Vacancy: 1
