DescriptionAs a Locum MD in Psychiatry you will be responsible for evaluating diagnosing and treating patients with various mental health disorders. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care. This role is vital in helping us meet the increasing demand for psychiatric services in our region.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessmentsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans for patientsProvide crisis intervention and stabilization as neededCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive careDocument patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulationsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of psychiatric best practices and standardsEducate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatmentsParticipate in case consultations and staff meetingsRequirementsMD degree with a specialization in PsychiatryCurrent medical license to practice in the relevant statePrevious experience in a psychiatric setting (preferred)Strong diagnostic and clinical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work effectively as part of a healthcare teamKnowledge of mental health regulations and best practicesCommitment to providing compassionate patient careSchedule: 5x 8-hour shifts or 4x 10-hour shifts per weekNo call or weekend shiftsSetting: OutpatientDaily Volume: 14 patientsPatient Population: Adults90-minute new evaluations and 30-minute follow-upsSupport Staff: NPs RNs social workers and clinic workersEMR: EpicMust be board-certified or board-eligiblePaid travel & expenses Key Skills Arabic Faculty,Furniture,Housekeeping,Financial Consulting,Arabic Employment Type : CONTRACT Experience: years Vacancy: 1
