Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Neonatology in Redding CAJoin a reputable healthcare facility in Redding California at a Level III NICU renowned for its commitment to providing exceptional care to neonates. This locum physician position offers the chance to work in a vibrant community as part of a dedicated team. You will round in the NICU and cover calls from nursing staff ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained for our patients.Job Responsibilities:Round in the NICU at least once per day and respond to calls from nursing staff as patient conditions require.Provide necessary procedures including ventilatory assistance and administration of cardiac pressors.Supervise and teach Family Practice Residents during their Nursery rotation.Coordinate with NICU nurses and ensure proper patient care protocols are followed.Maintain documentation using Cerner Care B EMR.Qualifications:Board Certified or Eligible in Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine.Substantial recent experience covering neonatology services (not pediatrics).Clean malpractice history.Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.License and Certification Requirements:Active state medical license.BLS NRP and DEA certifications during credentialing.Must be recognized as a paneled member of California Children Services (CCS).Redding California is a thriving city nestled in the picturesque Shasta Cascade region.
