DescriptionAs a Locum PA you will work closely with oncologists and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care and support for women undergoing gynecologic cancer treatment. Your role is crucial in ensuring a seamless experience for patients from initial consultations to ongoing management and follow-up care.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive care to patients in a gynecologic oncology settingAssist in diagnostic procedures and patient assessmentsCollaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plansConduct follow-up visits and monitor patient progressEducate patients about their conditions and treatment optionsMaintain accurate medical records and documentationParticipate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussionsStay updated on the latest advancements in gynecologic oncologyRequirementsAssociates degree in Physician Assistant studiesCurrent PA license and certificationPrevious experience in gynecologic oncology or related fieldStrong clinical assessment and diagnostic skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsFamiliarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systemsShift Times: 4 days per week 8a-5pSchedule: 1-2 OR days and 2-3 clinic days per weekWeekday and weekend call shiftsSetting: Outpatient clinic and ORDaily Volume: 14 patientsDuties: Daily oversight for gyn onc chemo patients triage patient concerns review lab and imaging results clear labs and EKGs for surgery and inpatient consults and roundingEMR: EpicBoard certification requiredPaid travel & expenses Key Skills Business,Baan,Communication,Corporate Advisory,HSSE Employment Type : CONTRACT Experience: years Vacancy: 1
