Job Title: Locum Physician - Hospitalist (Pediatric) in Grass Valley CAWe are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist for a locum position at a family birth center located in the picturesque Grass Valley California. This facility offers a comprehensive range of maternity care including labor and delivery nursery services and emergency department consultations. Join a supportive team that includes L&D nurses OB/Gyn Anesthesiologists ED Physicians Hospitalists and Tele-Intensivists and make a meaningful impact in the lives of families in this beautiful community.Job Responsibilities:Round daily on newbornsProvide coverage for any newborn/delivery needsPerform ED consultations and admit patients from the ED to inpatient settings (rare)Conduct neonatal resuscitations and applicable proceduresAssist with pediatric resuscitations in the ED and for admitted pediatric patientsManage venous access airway management and other necessary proceduresCollaborate with support staff including nurses and other physiciansQualifications:Board Certification or Board Eligible within the last 5 yearsActive State LicenseDEA Certification (required during credentialing)Malpractice coverage (highly preferred)Availability for specific datesLicense and Certification Requirements:Board Certification or Board Eligible statusActive State Medical LicenseDEA CertificationDiscover the charm of Grass Valley a vibrant city rich in history and natural beauty.
