The role will cover a physician gap as we look to welcome permanent hires and will allow you to make a significant impact on the community.Job Responsibilities:Treat skin reactions and prevent skin breakdownManage and treat vascular ulcers pressure ulcers and diabetic ulcersInitiate preventative measures and provide comprehensive wound managementApply topical therapies and educate patients and their support on care techniquesAssess and treat draining wounds and fistulaeImplement actions to reduce the incidence of pressure and vascular ulcersProvide instruction on proper wound dressingSupervise hyperbaric oxygen treatmentQualifications:Board certification in Wound Care preferredExperience in treating acute surgical traumatic and chronic woundsKnowledge of various treatments including bioengineered skin and hyperbaric oxygen therapyLicenses and Certification Requirements:Current BLS certification - REQUIREDACLS certification preferred for hyperbaric oxygen treatmentsActive Ohio medical license - REQUIREDDiscover the charm of Batavia Ohio a thriving community that balances small-town warmth with modern amenities.
