Join Our Team as a Locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon in Mishawaka INWe are seeking a dedicated Locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our hospital-based practice in Mishawaka Indiana. Starting in December 2025 you will have the opportunity to engage in a rewarding position working alongside a skilled team in a facility equipped with 16 operating rooms and an annual ER volume of 45K.This practice focuses on providing exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients with an average of 5-6 procedures weekly including both cardiac and thoracic surgeries. You will collaborate with a supportive ancillary staff ensuring optimal patient outcomes throughout your coverage period from December 22 to January 5 with potential for ongoing sporadic coverage.Job Responsibilities:Perform adult cardiac and general thoracic surgeries.Conduct procedures such as CABG arterial revascularization and redo coronary revascularization.Manage tube thoracostomy and pericardial window procedures.Execute thoracic surgery procedures including thoracotomy lung biopsy and chest wall reconstruction.Perform heart valve repair/replacement surgeries.Qualifications:Board Certification or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery.Active Indiana Medical License at the time of submission.Active Indiana DEA/CSR required at the time of submission.Availability for all open coverage dates.License and Certification Requirements:Board Certified or Board Eligible - REQUIRED.Active Indiana License - REQUIRED.Active Indiana DEA/CSR - REQUIRED.Mishawaka Indiana offers a unique blend of cultural experiences outdoor activities and a family-friendly environment.
