Locum Thoracic Physician Opportunity in Richmond VAJoin a respected hospital facility in Richmond Virginia as a Locum Thoracic Physician. The facility located on Bremo Road features 21 operating rooms and offers comprehensive support with an emphasis on adult and geriatric patient care.Job Responsibilities:Perform various thoracic procedures including Bronchoscopy Robot-Assisted Thoracic Surgery and Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS).Provide care for patients with complex thoracic conditions such as lung cancer esophageal cancer and mediastinal masses.Collaborate with ancillary staff including OR support ICU support and hospitalists.Participate in the on-call schedule as needed.Engage in documentation through the EPIC EMR system.Support and manage post-operative care and follow-up with patients.Qualifications:Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery.Active Virginia medical license without exceptions.Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.Provider must be local; reimbursement is available for mileage only.Must submit a flat rate for 24-hour coverage that includes all gratis hours.License and Certification Requirements:Active Virginia license (required).Board Certification in Thoracic Surgery (required).BLS and ACLS certifications (required).Experience the vibrant city of Richmond Virginia known for its rich history diverse culture and beautiful parks.
