Locum Tenens Opportunity: Family Practice Physician Near Poulsbo, WA We are currently seeking a highly qualified Family Practice Physician for an exciting locum tenens opportunity near Poulsbo, WA. This position is available ASAP and will be ongoing, with an initial contract length of three months and the potential for extension. The role is ideal for a dedicated and experienced physician who is passionate about providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population in a community health setting. Position Details: Specialty: Family PracticeStart Date: As soon as credentialedContract Length: 3 months, with the possibility to extendShift Details:Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM40 hours per week8-hour workday with a 1-hour unpaid lunch breakNo call requiredOptional Saturday hours available at an increased rate Practice Setting: Location: Outpatient ambulatory setting at a Community Health CenterSupport Staff:Dedicated medical assistant for each providerReceptionist and other support personnelMental health therapists, dietitians, and onsite pediatricians available at most clinicsLocal health care administrator for timesheet submissionsPatient Population:Newborns to geriatricsProvider should be comfortable working with all age groupsExperience working with vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees, is highly desirable (interpretative services available on-site)Spanish-speaking ability is required for this role Responsibilities: Patient Load:Scheduled to see up to 21 patients per dayMust be comfortable with a high-volume, fast-paced environmentDepartment Description:Focus on family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, and chronic disease managementBasic procedures such as injections, IUD placement, and minor wound careSkills Required:Must be able to hit the ground running1-week ramp-up with onsite orientation, with the expectation to begin patient care by day 3EMR System: EPIC (experience required) Travel and Accommodation: Travel Logistics:Client will cover flight, rental car or mileage, and lodging expenses Requirements: Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE)License: Active Washington state license required (non-licensed candidates will not be considered)DEA: Active Washington DEA requiredCertifications: Any additional certifications required (e.g., BLS, ACLS) will be discussed during credentialing; provider will be responsible for obtaining these if neededExperience:Minimum of 2 years of experience requiredClean background with no history of malpracticeMust have experience using EPIC Credentialing Timeframe: Credentialing: 2-3 weeksThis locum tenens position is an excellent opportunity for a Family Practice Physician looking to make a meaningful impact in a community health environment.
