The program can provide eviction prevention and deposit assistance prioritizing applications based on need rather than a first-come first-served basis.We value the respect and dignity of all. We aim to create a space that is physically and emotionally safe for all regardless of race ethnicity nationality religion gender gender identity or sexual orientation.Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:The Long-Term Rental Assistance (LTRA) Operations Specialist A plays a vital role in supporting Housing Department operations and assisting program participants. This position is responsible for preparing and initiating contracts tracking state and federal fund utilization and ensuring full compliance with OHCS and HUD quarterly and annual reporting requirements. Key duties also include processing monthly rent payments to landlords and serving as an agency representative with community partners and the public. The LTRA Operations Specialist works under the direction of the Director of Housing.RequirementsRequiredBachelors degree requiredTwo years of direct experience in grant management compliance bookkeeping fiscal management program management or related services requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel requiredPassion for helping others and a desire to work in an organization that serves people who are experiencing poverty and houselessness requiredAbility to travel throughout the tri-county area regularly even in inclement weather using personal vehicle requiredRequired prior to date of hire and throughout employment:Valid drivers licenseProof of current auto insuranceAccess to reliable transportationSatisfactory criminal background checkPreferredExperience in the following areas preferred:Oregon Landlord/Tenant and Fair Housing LawsExperience in addressing current challenges faced by low-income and poverty-affected populations and effectively serving these communitiesKnowledge of community resourcesSalary Description$29.83/hour (plus $0.50/hour bilingual Spanish)Required Experience:IC Key Skills Financial Services,Information Technology,Cost Control,Corporate Risk Management,Law Employment Type : Temp Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Hourly Salary Salary: 29 - 30
