Strong background in English Language Arts literature and writing instruction. Effective communication organization and classroom management skills. Ability to build positive relationships with high school students. DUTIES: Deliver instruction aligned to district curriculum and state standards. Teach core ELA content including literature analysis college-level writing research skills and vocabulary development. Facilitate engaging lessons for whole-group small-group and individual learners. Maintain accurate attendance assignments and grading records. Provide timely constructive feedback on student work. Communicate professionally with students families and colleagues. Support a positive safe and productive classroom environment. Collaborate with ELA department staff as needed.
