Job Title:Long Term Paraprofessional SubstituteLocation: Westerly Middle SchoolClass Title: Temporary - Non ExemptEffective Date: 11/17/25Salary Range:$16.52Hours per week:35 hoursGeneral Statement:Provide support to the educational process with specific focus on instructional and classroom assistance.Responsibilities:Manage student learning in accordance with the goals of the District.Implement lesson plans while ensuring the integrity of academic time and in a manner which motivates students to learn and participate.Organize students for effective instruction.Ensure the adequate supervision to assure health welfare and safety of all students.Must be able to follow oral and written directions and have the ability to establish effective working relationships with staff and students.Ability to maintain effective classroom management strategies.Report all student injuries accidents illnesses and discipline problems to the appropriate authority immediately or as soon as is reasonably possible.Perform all other related duties as assigned by building administrator(s) in accordance with District policies and practices.Qualifications:Experience:At least 1 year of relevant experience preferredEducation:Certification & Licensing:Must meet the current RI Department of Education requirements and or certifications.Required Experience:Unclear Seniority Key Skills Campaigns,Client Server,Admin Support,LNG,Document Management Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
