Loss Mitigation - Operations Coordinator at Northwest Bank

Job DescriptionThis individual will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and executing loan documents for Loss Mitigation loan and act as ongoing support throughout the life of the loan. This position will act as back-up in absence of the Loan Operations Support Manager.Essential FunctionsPrepare or review Loss Mitigation loan documentationCommunicate with Loss Mitigation to ensure proper core maintenance is completedReconcile and balance General Ledger accounts dailyAct as point of contact between the lender and Credit Administration for impaired loansRespond to customer inquiries with exemplary customer service in established service agreementsOrder third-party vendor documents as directed by Loss MitigationComplete a thorough review and understanding of the approval documentsEnsure total document and data integrity attributes to comply with CECL data pointsAssist with core system release testing and merger-related cleanup as necessaryTrain new hires to ensure consistency and standardization in processing and understanding loss mitigation transactionsComplete disbursements and draws as directed from Loss MitigationMaintain and track documentation exceptions as applicableMonitor and reconcile reports as they apply to Loss Mitigation and perform follow-up as necessary with internal and external business partnersServe as subject matter expert for all Loss Mitigation transactionsUpdate department procedures as applicableEnsure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulationsNavigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department to maximize technology tools and gain efficiencyWork as part of a teamWork with on-site equipmentEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in business administration or finance preferred5-6 years of banking experience preferred5-6 years of customer service experience preferredKnowledge of loss mitigation loan products, loan support, credit policy, compliance and interpretation of legal and regulatory issuesKnowledge of loan documentation including the ability or read, interpret and make judgements from the documentation**This position is based onsite Monday - Thursday with Friday as an optional work from home day.#LI-EK1Northwest is an equal opportunity employer.
