To learn more about our values, please read our Statement of FaithJob Title: CSEY Advocacy CoordinatorJob Status: Full-time, exempt, DCFS contract-funded with intent to apply for continued fundingJob Location: Regional Office, LAJob Summary: The primary functions of the CSEY Advocacy Coordinator are to provide leadership and supervision for the regional CSEY advocacy team; ensure effective CSEY Advocate training and excellence in regional service delivery; develop and maintain strong relationships with local DCFS, law enforcement, service partners, and other referral sources; monitor intake of new clients; and ensure timely and accurate documentation, data collection, and regional reporting.Compensation: Annual salaryBenefits: Unbound Now offers a generous benefits package including health insurance for employee and family with premiums covered by employer; employer-paid life insurance for employee; and the option to participate in Unbound Now's retirement plan (with 3% salary match after 90 days with a 1-year vesting period). Dental and Vision are available at employee expenseSchedule/Availability: Generally, Monday through Friday, 8:30-5:30. Weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. Share backup/supervisory call with the CSEY Advocacy Coordinator in a nearby regionanticipated 45-50 hour work weekWorking conditions:Some work is performed in a normal office environment, other service-provider conditions, or other professional environments. Some work within the community, in high-vulnerability locationsTravel:This position will require some travel within the region for crisis response, partner meetings, training, and team/professional development opportunitiesJob Responsibilities:Lead regional CSEY advocacy teamSupervise regional CSEY Advocates and Program Support SpecialistsDevelop and maintain good working relationships with local DCFS, law enforcement agencies, service providers, and other referral sourcesEnsure high-quality CSEY advocacy services regionallyProactively communicate with the Director of the Louisiana CSEY Advocacy Program regarding any issues related to the regional CSEY advocacy teamIn coordination with the Director of the Louisiana CSEY Advocacy Program, implement and monitor compliance with policies and procedures for CSEY advocacyIn coordination with the Director of the Louisiana CSEY Advocacy Program, recruit, screen, train, engage, supervise, and retain CSEY Advocates and a Program Support SpecialistSchedule and document all required trainings for advocates, volunteers, and internsSchedule and facilitate weekly advocacy team meetings and staffingsProvide weekly supervision for each CSEY advocateProvide training and support to CSEY Advocates in the implementation of the OHTS toolEnsure that the regional team adheres to the budget and spending protocolsSeek informal feedback from service partnersMonitor for red flags or inappropriate behaviors and/or policy violations.Respond appropriately to allegations of abuse, including youth-to-youth sexual activityTake allegations seriouslyRespond immediately - if there is a reason to believe behavior is abusive, report to authoritiesReport to the Director of the Louisiana CSEY Advocacy Program immediatelyIn coordination with the Director of the Louisiana CSEY Advocacy Program, collect information, as appropriate, and develop and document the response and corrective actionDetermine and meet the needs of the alleged victim, as appropriatePrevent further access by the alleged perpetratorPrepare regional programmatic and financial reportsParticipate in the Unbound Now advocate resilience groupConduct annual CSEY Advocate and Program Support Specialist performance reviewsAssist in setting goals and providing data for future DCFS funding applicationsMeet regularly with Unbound Now Directors of Survivor Advocacy for peer supportSubmit expense documentation properly and within the required time frames per the company's expense policyCard Managers are responsible for reviewing each team members spend and assessing adherence to policy weekly, and following all Ramp Monthly Closeout Instructions and ProcessSubmit travel reimbursements daily and approve TripLog weekly, adhering to all travel guidelinesReview and approve timesheets bi-weekly- identifying that grant allocations are metComplete all Unbound Now required training on time*This position description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
