After 90 days - $19.25/hr. After 6 months - $19.75/hr. Hours: M-F (6am - 2:30pm) Hours may vary slightly due to need. Some days you may get out earlier others later. OT is available for this position. Super rare Saturdays. Benefits: Full Benefits after 90 days. Medical Dental Vision Life 401K etc. Lear is big on attendance and respectful behavior. We are a tight team and hold each other and ourselves accountable. Lear is big on employee engagement activities and giving back to the community. We take care of our employees. This position does require repetitive motions & rotating stations. The Louisville KY facility specializes in the assembly of automotive seats and seat structures. We assemble a complete seat for the Corvette. Job ResponsibilitiesThe Seat Assembler is part of the Production department and reports to the Line SupervisorWork as a team member on a production line adding various components to the seat assemblyAssure Safety & Quality standards are always followedContribute fully to continuous improvement initiativesAdhere to 5S and World Class Housekeeping standardsHelp to achieve team performance goals and objectivesIdentify and record any problems related to the product process and quality systemInitiate recommend or provide solutions through designated channelsFrequently required to stand walk sit and reach with hands & armsRepetitive gripping and dexterous use of handsMust regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic is a mustPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) requiredOne year of related experience preferred but not requiredSeat Assembler Job DescriptionPay Rate Progression: Start $19/hr.
