Programmer - Low Voltage & Building Systems at Talent Source

Are you a NIAGRA certified professional seeking your next challenge? If you’re a low-voltage programmer who enjoys both developing custom logic and commissioning systems onsite, this is a chance to work across BAS, fire alarm, access control, and security platforms and make a difference! While not just sitting behind a desk, you will bring your Niagara N4 and/or AX certification, controls or fire alarm programming background and be part of a small, growing team where your skills truly matter supporting projects in northern Indiana and southwest Michigan. In this customer interfacing role, you will be out in the field approximately 25% of the time travelling to client sites and provided a company vehicle, with all expenses paid. Additionally, you will assist with the following: • Provide internal and external design assistance for supported systems• Develop sequences of operation, custom programming, and graphics for complex life-safety, security, HVAC, and building systems• Create, manage, and troubleshoot control features using manufacturer software• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot software packages in both virtual and physical environments• Execute field changes and update system databases and programs accordingly• Process, revise, and maintain field documentation• Maintain strong communication with internal teams to resolve issues, recommend solutions, and support client relationships Requirements include Experience programming BAS systems, integration platforms, JACE programming, and building graphicsBasic electrical knowledge related to low-voltage systemsFamiliarity with Control BASIC line programming and block programmingProgramming knowledge of access control systemsFire alarm system programming experienceLogic controls programming experienceIn-depth understanding of HVAC and mechanical systemsKnowledge of fire alarm codes and system layoutNICET training/certification is a plus DIRECT HIRE ROLECompensation: $45,000 - $73,000 + great benefits!Small growing team oriented companyExcellent employee benefitsHeadquartered in North Central Indiana and founded in 2009, TalentSource is a sole-source recruiting firm offering an excellent team of subject matter experts in talent acquisition!
