We are offering a great opportunity for a full time ACT Team Lead for our Assertive Community Team (ACT). ACT is a highly coordinated set of services offered by a group of medical, behavioral health, peer recovery support providers and rehabilitation professionals in the community who work together as a team to meet the complex needs of individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness.ResponsibilitiesThis position primarily serves as a Lead clinical member of the ACT multidisciplinary team. The ACT team serves adults with severe and persistent mental illness in the GRCSB service delivery area and is designed to provide an evidence-based set of services offered by a self-contained interdisciplinary community-based team of medical, behavioral health, and rehabilitation professionals. Required Education and ExperienceMaster’s degree in human services or related field.Licensed with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a LMHP.Three (3) years position related experience in clinical experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting.Valid Driver’s License with a point balance of -6 or higher.Preferred Education and ExperienceFive (5) years position related experience in clinical experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric settingPrevious ACT Team experience.Required Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMust have a strong commitment to the right and ability of each person with a severe and persistent mental illness to live in normal community residences; work in market jobs; and have access to helpful, adequate, competent, and continuous supports and services. Skills and competence to establish supportive and trusting relationships with people with severe and persistent mental illnesses and respect for client rights and personal preferences in treatment.Ability to conduct home visits required.Ability to drive an agency vehicle to conduct agency business.Ability to make sound clinical judgments.Ability to effectively manage a caseload and support other members of the team when necessary.ACT is an essential program, operating 365 days of the year. Applicant must be able to work some evenings (until 7:00pm), weekends, and holidays, based on program needs, and work with a rotating on call schedule. Will be required to travel within the Greater Reach CSB catchment area.Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection.
