Job Details:Scheduled Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pmMinimum Starting Wage:LPN: $25.14CMA: $20.78Job Description:A Brief OverviewAssists medical provider in the care and treatment of patients with a variety of illnesses. Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures; maintain patient records; and select assemble check and operate equipment. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories preparing patient for examination and administering medication as directed by provider.LPN:What you will doRegular and reliable attendance.Maintain accurate detailed reports and records.Prepare patients for and assist with examinations and treatments.Assess the needs of individuals families or communities including assessment of individuals home or work environments to identify potential health or safety problems.Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans.Direct and coordinate infection control programs advising and consulting with specified personnel about necessary precautions.Prepare rooms sterile instruments equipment and supplies and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained.Instruct individuals families and other groups on topics such as health education disease prevention and childbirth and develop health improvement programs.Conduct specified laboratory tests.Record patients medical information and vital signs.QualificationsOne Year Certificate from College or Tech School Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Required1-3 years Health care experience PreferredKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries diseases and deformities. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) RequiredGraduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants Required1-3 years experience in a medical office PreferredKnowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries diseases and deformities.
