LPN Full Time Night Shift

Job Summary:
North Beach Rehabilitation Center, a skilled nursing facility located in North Miami Beach, FL, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our night shift team. As a small center with only 99 beds, we excel at providing personalized and customized care to our residents. Responsibilities:
Monitor residents' responses to treatment care plans and supervise and direct the work of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
Document necessary information regarding nursing care, care plans, and observation of residents' overall conditions
Perform various duties to provide quality nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments, monitoring administration of intravenous fluids, and placing orders for medication
Analyze information for appropriate interventions to prevent decline and record signs of change in condition
Notify appropriate staff per facility protocol to evaluate weight loss, decline in ambulation, development of skin breakdown, etc.
Maintain resident clinical files and keep charts updated
Make rounds to see each resident daily
Requirements:
At least one year of experience in a Long Term Care environment is required
Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program
Must possess and maintain a current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Must be able to move, lift, and position patients
