Job Description

The LPN under the direction and supervision of an RN is responsible and accountable for the overall health status of the residents including: assessment evaluation plan of care monitoring and reporting changes to the physician RN and family. The LPN may delegate selected nursing activities to CNAs but retains accountability and responsibility for the overall nursing care. Supervising staff along with the continuous evaluation of resident care needs and implementation of plan of care by direct care or supervision of the CNAs Environmental Aides or Ward Secretary. The LPN assists in the ongoing assessment and data collection of residents assigned to his/her care. Benefits: Health Vision and Dental. BLS certification is required within the orientation period. Educational Requirements: LPN program as evidenced by licensure.
