Major Duties:CARE COORDINATION:Support & Coordination of care for Onsite/Near-Site ModelCoordinator for Community Resources:Collaborates for program development including but not limited to onsite preventative services primary care/specialist referrals for EmployeesWORKERS COMPENSATION:Case Management to facilitate Workers Comp process facilitate referrals assuring appropriate care prescriptions facilitate scheduling studies and return to work assessmentsAttend Plant Safety Meetings review injuriesResource for Work Comp guidelines to injured employeesAssists in documentation of Work Comp Injury for personnelCoordinates Work Comp Modified Duty with Clients Supervisors & SafetyOCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE:Evaluation of all work injury Return to WorksResponsibility for all Influenza Flu Events for respective facilityServe as Subject Matter Expert for development of programs and services as determined need by Collaborate with Environmental Health and Safety Operations and Human ResourcesEducation of employees - Safe Work Environment and PreventionCoordinates Hearing Preservation Program with referrals to ENT as appropriateCoordinates Onsite Health Events Mammography Blood Drives and Monthly Health topicsMEDICAL MANAGEMENT:Evaluation and treat all injuries illnesses and medical conditions in an efficient and professional manner within nursing scope of practice and guidelinesAssisting in medical emergenciesTaking vital signs such as blood pressure pulse temperature and weightBasic wound care including cleaning and bandaging injured areasGiving Immunizations under Physician OrdersSupport and Encourage Medical Management Plans of Patientsblood pressure checks blood glucose checksAssist in coordinating Onsite EAP Counseling after an event and ongoing educationPREVENTION:Wellness Campaigns (every month) that cover every shift and breakroomIdentification of Prevention and Health OpportunitiesPromotion of ImmunizationsCPR TrainingAttends monthly safety meetingsAssists with Coaching programsHEALTH COACHINGEducation in Prevention Chronic Disease and Health OpportunitiesInitial Goal Setting to achieve improvement in health outcomesSteerage into Health & Wellness programs including but not limited to pilotsADMINISTRATIVE:Responsible for all medical supplies for occupational officeAssures compliance with regulatory requirements CLIA & OSHACharting within Electronic Health RecordQualifications:LPN license with active NC license in good standing with ability to maintainMulti-state licensure is preferredAt least 2 or more years of Nursing experienceCPR CertificateAmerican Heart AssociationAbility to work independentlyElectronic Health Record and computer skills requiredBonus points for:Knowledge/Experience of the manufacturing industryKnowledge/Experience with occupational health nursingKnowledge of recordable and non-recordable accidentsThis is a 34 hour a week role with annual bonus PTO paid holidays comprehensive benefits including medical vision dental short and long-term disability life insurance and 401k with company match.Hours: Monday 6 am - 1pm (Thomasville)Tuesday 6:45 am - 2:45 pm (Mt.
