Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:Lube Technicians are the heart of our operation, working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and playing a vital role in delivering quality service to our guests. They perform Jiffy Lube’s Signature Service® Oil Change, as well as inspect, maintain, and service cars and light trucks with attention to detail and a strong focus on guest satisfaction. This position is essential to the success of our stores and our commitment to excellence. Every technician receives comprehensive training through Jiffy Lube University, our award-winning training program, leading to full certification.Job Duties Include, but Are Not Limited To:· Performing Jiffy Lube Signature Service® Oil Changes· Conducting a 17-point Report on Condition visual safety inspection· Servicing filters, light bulbs, wiper blades, tire rotations, and other light-duty maintenance· Performing fluid exchanges, including coolant, transmission, power steering, and other vital systems· Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional work environment, including regular cleanup dutiesAdvancement OpportunitiesAs you gain experience, demonstrate strong performance, and complete your certifications through Jiffy Lube University, you may become eligible for advancement into roles such as Plus Technician/Mechanic, Service Advisor, or Supervisor/Key Holder. The work environment may include exposure to hot and cold temperatures, loud noise, and exhaust fumes.Additional physical qualifications include:· Ability to safely operate shop equipment such as oil and grease guns, transmission machines, A/C service machines, radiator machines, and standard hand tools· Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds· Must be physically capable of pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, raising arms overhead, and turning head/neck/shoulders as needed throughout the workday
