JOB DESCRIPTION

Lymphedema Therapist (OT or PT)


Location: Boston, MA

Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time


The Brine Group is partnering with a leading academic medical center in Boston to identify an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) or Physical Therapist (PT) with specialized training in lymphedema and lipedema management.


This role offers the opportunity to join an established outpatient rehabilitation team within a nationally recognized Center of Excellence for lymphatic care, working alongside experts in oncology, lymphatic disease, and reconstructive surgery.


Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with lymphedema and lipedema across multiple anatomical regions
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians and surgeons
  • Participate in program growth and clinical initiatives
  • Opportunity to contribute to research and ongoing professional development


Schedule

  • Full-time preferred; part-time considered (minimum 3 days/week)
  • Flexible scheduling options:
  • 3–5 days/week
  • 8-, 9-, or 10-hour shifts
  • Hours between 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday–Friday
  • Option to practice lymphedema exclusively or blend with another specialty area


Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy
  • Active Massachusetts license (or eligibility)
  • Completion of a 135-hour lymphedema certification program (LANA not required)
  • Experience treating patients with lymphedema and/or lipedema
  • Strong clinical evaluation, communication, and critical thinking skills


Compensation & Benefits

  • $10,000 sign-on bonus
