Aon is seeking a Human Capital Consultant in NYC - M&A Due DiligenceWe are currently looking to hire a Human Capital Consultant for our New York Mergers & Acquisitions insurance diligence team. As part of an industry-leading team, you will advise our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our M&A and Transaction Solutions business group.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive team and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likeLead human capital due diligence projectsWork directly with private equity or corporate clients as well as their other outside advisors which typically include accounting, legal and environmental expertsCoordinate with internal resources to develop findings with including international, pension, and executive compensation experts, Reps and Warranties brokers, originators and other M&A team membersManage and execute client deliverables including interim email updates, phone conversations and a final reportAnalyze and provide technical input and benchmarking on health & welfare, retirement, employment agreements, broad-based compensation, and equity plans and human capital sections of the draft purchase agreementCollaborate with originators in establishing new client relationships and expanding existing ones. Assist assigned Health Solutions team members with converting due diligence targets to ongoing clients, and helping to develop other opportunitiesProvide ongoing relationship management oversight to private equity clientsPrepare proposals and make presentations to clientsBe viewed as a thought leader (creative thinking and innovation); proven credibility (knowledge/ trust) both externally and internallyWrite due diligence reports, white papers, presentations, newsletters, etc.Communicate and capture the value that Aon brings even to the most challenging situationsSkills and experience that will lead to successHuman capital technical proficiency. Broad knowledge of health & welfare, defined contribution retirement and executive compensation. Pay Transparency Laws:The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $120,000 to $140,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
