Machine Attendant

As a Machine Attendant, you will play a crucial role in the production of metal studs used for drywall framing. This entry-level position involves assisting with the loading of metal into machines and handling the final product.

Responsibilities

• Assist machine operators with loading metal into machines.
• Help load metal studs onto pallets once they are created.
• Assist with labeling and processing paperwork for orders.

Essential Skills

• Experience in general labor tasks.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks.
• Capability to load and pack materials effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs.

Work Environment

Work in a facility that transforms aluminum into steel studs using custom machinery. The environment includes 11 roll forming machines and a dedicated team of mechanics. This role offers optional overtime and requires comfort in a manufacturing setting that may become hot in summer months.

This is a Permanent position based out of Libertyville, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
