Advanced Blending Solutions LLC of Wallace MI is looking to hire a full-time Machine Builder to join our 1st shift production team. Team members have the opportunity to advance their careers at ABS.A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A MACHINE BUILDER-1st ShiftAs an Assembler you will work in a clean comfortable environment as you fit together parts and components to build our blending and conveying equipment. Attention to detail is key while you read blue prints study assembly instructions gather parts tools and materials. Quality is critical for our equipment so you will inspect finished products to verify measurements determine any need for adjustment and ensure proper operation. Problem solving is a key skill to resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet requirements. Forklift operation and basic maintenance will be a part of your daily tasks to move equipment to/from other departments.Safety Always is our motto which you support by monitoring equipment and materials to ensure safe operation while following safety procedures as you work. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MACHINE BUILDER-1st ShiftUtilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform dutiesKnowledge of measuring equipment including micrometers calipers and tape measuresRead and interpret blueprintsComplete training to become forklift certified within 30 daysLift up to 25 pounds frequently 50 pounds occasionallyHigh school diploma or equivalent required1ST SHIFT WORK SCHEDULE AS A MACHINE BUILDERThe typical schedule for this full-time 1st shift position is Monday -Thursday from 5 am to 2:30 pm and Friday from 5 am to 9 am with weekends free!ARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR PRODUCTION TEAMWe understand your time is valuable and that is why we have a very quick and easy application process.
