Key Job Responsibilities- Development and maintain key platforms needed for building, evaluating and deploying models for real-world applications.
- Design and implement scalable data processing pipelines and infrastructure to support ML model training workflows
- Develop tools for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and efficient resource utilization for large-scale AI training jobs
- Create monitoring systems, debugging tools, and performance optimization solutions for ML infrastructure
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate ML frameworks with production systems and implement version control for both code and model artifacts
- Learn state of the art technologies and algorithms in the field of Generative AI to participate in our journey to build the best models.
Our main data consumers and producers are science teams. You will work closely with scientists from various domains to clarify requirements, design new systems, upgrade existing services and provide operational support to mitigate issues. Your work will largely comprise of working with data services and pipelines.

Basic Qualifications- 3+ years of non internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of non internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining machine learning systems at scale
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and able to articulate technical challenges and solutions to a broad range of audiences, technical and business

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
