Job Description
ABR is recruiting 1 st or 2 nd shift Production/Machine Operators in Merrill, Wisconsin to start immediately! This is an excellent opportunity for motivated Production/Machine Operators seeking a hands-on role in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As a key part of our production process, you will operate and set up various machines, ensuring precision and efficiency to meet our high standards of quality and safety.
Hours are Monday - Thursday, 5:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. OR 3:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. Overtime available on Fridays. Wage is $18.50 per hour on 1st shift and $20.50 per hour on 2nd shift.

What You'll Do:
- Operate and set up machinery for different jobs, including special and experimental projects.
- Load and unload plating racks, change crossbars, and perform minor maintenance tasks.
- Inspect work in progress, test materials for conformance, and record testing data to support quality assurance.
- Follow detailed work orders, instructions, and prints, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including the use of hand tools and basic equipment like forklifts when required.
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
- Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to stand, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Pre-employment background check
- Experience with measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges)
- CNC experience or an interest in CNC machining
- Blueprint reading skills
- Certification in metal trades or related fields
