Machine Operator at Aerotek
JOB DESCRIPTION
Machine Operator
Join a leading developer and manufacturer of engineered polymeric solutions for the medical device industry. We specialize in producing catheters, minimally invasive devices, diagnostics, fluid management, and packaging. We are looking for dedicated machine operators to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain machinery to ensure efficient production processes.
- Work closely with extrusion operators and the maintenance team.
- Ensure all products meet quality standards by performing quality checks.
- Document production processes accurately as the role requires heavy documentation.
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues.
Essential Skills
- 6 months of experience in mechanical assembly, quality, manufacturing, or operating experience.
- Ability to work and stand on your feet for 8+ hours a day.
- Reliability and initiative are crucial as absences impact production schedules.
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English to handle documentation requirements.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined with experience using hand tools.
- Experience with machine setup and general production.
- Experience as a utility operator or extrusion operator is beneficial.

Work Environment
The work is performed on the manufacturing floor in a smaller, very clean facility. The environment is innovative and supportive, with a focus on quality and precision. Employees work closely with the extrusion operators and maintenance team, and the company provides quarterly production bonuses based on performance metrics.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Putnam, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
