Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary:We are currently seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Machine Operator to join our injection molding team in Binghamton, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating plastic injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.Key Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and monitor injection molding machines to produce plastic components according to specificationsLoad raw materials into hoppers and ensure proper material flow during productionPerform visual and dimensional inspections of molded parts to ensure quality standards are metDocument production output, defects, and machine performance on appropriate forms or systemsTrim, package, and label finished products according to job requirementsIdentify and report any mechanical issues or production anomalies to supervisorsFollow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and work instructionsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shiftAssist with mold changes, machine cleaning, and minor maintenance as requiredQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrior experience in a manufacturing or injection molding environment is a plusAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsBasic math and measurement skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a teamWillingness to learn new tasks and cross-train on multiple machinesSchedule & Work Environment:Full-time, 8-hour shifts; overtime may be required depending on production needsManufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and materialsThis is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow in the manufacturing field.
