Machine Operator HIRING IMMEDIATELY Grottoes VA***Available Shift:7:00AM-7:00PM/7:00PM-7:00AM (rotates every 3 months)2x2x3APPLY ONLINE!Hiring Immediatley!Military Encouraged!!!Grottoes VA locationCompensation:Starting pay rate is a $20.90 -Paid Weekly!Eligible for annual & skill-based wage increasesEligible for monthly bonus based upon plant productivity*Benefits:Medical Dental VisionPrescription drug coverage401K with a company matchNew Hire Wellness Bonus (see plan details)Healthcare and DependentResponsibilities:Operate assigned Extrusion Machines at required rateStarts and stops machinesPerform general set-up change-over shut-down tasks.Monitor all extrusion and winding machinery operations on a continuous basis for quality and efficiencies.Diagnose/troubleshoot mechanical machine problems and makes adjustments to correct machine problems and maintain run rates.Perform necessary adjustments to maintain and/or improve product qualityMaintain run efficiencies established for the line and productsPerform quality check at prescribed intervalsPerform material tasks related to the assigned operationsComplete paperwork including but not limited to Operator Report Quality Checks and other forms as requiredPromptly communicates to supervisor any issues concerning health and safety hygiene quality and efficiencies.Maintain housekeeping around assigned operations.Follow company safety procedures and policiesAssist other operatorsCommunicate production information both written and verbalPerform all other assigned dutiesQualifications:Machine operator experience or equivalent maintenance/ mechanical experienceDemonstrated mechanical experience required.Must have good communication skillswritten and verbal and be able to demonstrate basic math proficiency.Must be able to use tools as required.Demonstrated ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential.Pactiv Evergreen is now a part of Novolex.
