Machine Operator- Weekly Pay- Start ASAP

Location: Mitchell, SD

Pay: $20-$25/hour

Hours: Various Shifts Available

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator with 1-2 years of experience in machine operation or production. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical and technical aptitude, along with entry-level computer skills. Familiarity with finishing machines, Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, and related tools, is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor machines in a production setting.
• Set up and troubleshoot glue systems like Mactron, Alpina, and Pafra.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively.
• Perform routine and occasional team lifting, up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain quality standards through visual inspection and proper handling of materials.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing steel-toed boots and hearing protection.

Essential Skills:

• 1-2 years of machine operating or production experience.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proficiency in operating finishing machines and related tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with feeder/inspector roles is preferred.
• Mechanical experience such as automotive or small engine repair is helpful.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements.
• Proficiency in reading computer screens and electronic devices.

This is a Contract position based out of Mitchell, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
