For more information about ProMach visit and for more information on ProMach Careers visit .Job Description:Working with the production and planning teams while overseeing the department which operates across two shifts this position will:Lead the team of employees including but not limited to the Saw Manual Mill CNC Lathe and CNC Mill OperatorsManage employee performance including ensuring accuracy standard of performance for both quality and quantity / output of workUtilize the ERP system to schedule and assign work orders based on priority machine capacity and machinist abilityTrain employees working on various shifts. This includes the operation programming materials tooling quality process improvements and safety initiativesProgram using Mastercam for SolidWorksEvaluate department needs and ensure machines are operating efficientlyAssist Machinists with technical questions and give directionCommunicate company information hold people accountable to company expectations assist in supporting positive company cultureCommunicate any issues that need addressed to managementAssists with performance reviews for staffMove product and equipment as neededJob Requirements:High school diploma or GED required.5-7 years of Machining experience. Preferably CNC Vertical milling and CNC Lathe experience. Job shop environment2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment2-year technical degree required in machiningExperience working with large machines and parts preferred.Excellent people skills.Experience in quality management systemsExperience with implementing or working in a Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing environmentProficient in Microsoft Office Excel & Word primarilyProficient in Mastercam and Mastercam for SolidWorksBENEFITS:Salary is only a part of a well-developed compensation program.
