Take a look!The Salary Range for our Machining Finisher job is $17.00-$19.00 per hour. Refer to the job description below: Summary/Objective: Remove excess material from cast partsJob Responsibilities: Finish machined parts using a wide variety of air electric and hand held tools to the required finish perform a visual inspection of finished parts gauge inspection as necessary and complete all required production paperwork and reporting. Use a wide variety of air electric and handheld tools to deburr grind chisel sand and buff machined parts to required finishVisually inspect parts and blend distorted and mismatched parts as necessaryUse go no go gauges on specified partsVerify counts with traveler and route to next operationMaintain adequate supplies of finishing consumablesCompletes and/or maintains required reports and recordsMeets quality and quantity standards for the positionAdheres to all safety policies and practices consistently uses personal protective equipment and practices good housekeeping.Maintains regular on-time attendance and adheres to company policies procedures and standards of conduct. Proactively supports the ISO process approach to quality management and the Syteline MIS system.Applies classroom and on the job post training information knowledge skills and abilities consistently in a quality-oriented manner (wherein the KSAs are part of the jobs tasks duties and other tasks as requested).Performs other tasks as directed.Educational Experience Based and Skill QualificationsHigh school graduate or equivalent with good math skills and 6 months experience preferably as above in a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong attention to detail.Physical RequirementsAbility to walk reach stoop and sit. Kneel and lift up to an including 35 pounds as needed. Visual abilities and manual dexterity.
